Gul Panag (3 Ιανουαρίου του 1979, Chandigarh, India) is an actress of Bollywood, a former model and beauty queen who has competed in Miss Universe pageant. The film is Dor, Manorama Six Feet Under, Hello, and straight.
Gul began his education in Sangrur, Punjab. But the career military father, so he went to different locations across India (and abroad). After that, she studied in 14 schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas (Chandigarh, Mhow, Leh, and Wellington, Tamil Nadu), Lawrence School, Lovedale and the International School of Lusaka, Zambia. Received a BA in mathematics from the University of Punjabi, Patiala, and a Masters in Political Science from the University of Panjab, Chandigarh. As a student, Panag interested in sports and public speaking. He has won numerous state and national competitions of high level talks, including 2 gold medals at the prestigious annual National Inter University Debate.
Career
Gul won the coveted title of Miss India in 1999 and was crowned Miss Beautiful Smile in the contest as well. At Miss Universe 1999, was ranked among the top 10 candidates. Gul began his career in movies, the film Dhoop, 2003. Since then he has worked in films like Jurm (2005) and television series Kashmeer (STAR Plus) [edit]. Received approval for clever mix of the role of Zeenat Fatima, a townsman of hard fighting to save her husband from going to the gallows in 2006 movie Nagesh Kukunoor Dor. The film of 2007, Manorama Six Feet Under, inspired by the Chinatown (film), won rave reviews [Edit]. In 2008, she starred in the film Hello and summer of 2007. The 2009 lineup includes films and the right rectangular Love Story has recently featured in a minor role in the Rann of trying to stop his friend to do the right thing. Gul appeared on the cover of Maxim (magazine) in which it has become a major photoshoot in September 2008.
It should not be a surprise to anyone, Gul has been a very successful model, appearing in numerous television advertisements and print media over the past ten years (including - Titan Raga watches commercials, and more recently from the Tata Sky ad with Aamir Khan). Gul is the brand ambassador of Tata Sky, with Aamir Khan.
Gul is also a lady very techno-savvy, with strong and interesting views on most issues. She is very active in Twitter, and has a huge fan base for himself. So much so that Twitter has appointed an ambassador during the recent official concluded that "Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week" Event @ Delhi, to cover events / processes at the micro-blogging.
